Obvious must-read for those like me who enjoyed [b:A Cornish Summer at Pear Tree Farm|58472171|A Cornish Summer at Pear Tree Farm|Angela Britnell|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1625222427l/58472171._SY75_.jpg|91799868], this new installment focuses on Ashley and Crispin, that we both met in book 1, while letting us catch up with Nessa and Ward (and a few other familiar characters). It could be read first if you missed the previous one and are not in the mood for a summer-themed story in winter, but chronological order would probably be better as this one contains references to the other's events (not that I think they would be confusing to new readers, but some might considered them a little spoilery).
I really enjoyed being back to Pear Tree Farm for this "Christmas, Cornish style", finding out more about Crispin's past, seeing him and Ashley find the happiness they deserved, and also witnessing part of Nessa and Ward's life as new parents.
I received an advance copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
