I really really enjoyed this book. It was a little confusing at first but I loved the storyline and the romance between the two main characters. The changing point of view i enjoyed a lot.
If I had read this book at 14 I’m sure that would have been deeply obsessed with it. As an adult it was a little harder to move past the classic YA fantasy tropes and it all felt very predictable. For the young readers in my life, though, I will absolutely be recommending this book.

I didn't want to give it less than 4 stars but I also didn't love it that much to give it 4 stars so i settled for 3.75.
Now, idk where to start but this book was like so good? I loved the whole plotline. The strangers to enemies to lovers to enemies to lovers to enemies to lovers. Idek how the whole 500 pages book had everything. The side characters??? Loved them.
Obviously i didn't understand some things mostly cuz of the names. Why can't fantasy books have normal names? Why are there so much of xs and ys in there?
My petty complains aside I loved it. The romance was so good and Jase damn. I loved kazi sm.

It is not a bad book, I just cannot get into it unfortunately and I do not wish to force myself to.

Pretty middle of the road for me. It's definitely not bad but I didn't LOVE it. The romance and very brief enemies to lovers was pretty good, the plot was pretty good, and the characters were pretty good. I felt the middle of the book started to drag but the beginning and ending were gripping. Will finish off the duology.
