Just felt a little too juvenile. That’s YA for you I guess. Maybe I should have read more but book club moved on so I think I have too

A good enemies to lovers well set and having real reasons to hate each other? I take it all.

This book got me hooked and I really really liked all the politics included, the plot twists, the characters and how they sticked to their moral values, the betrayals, the lies and the secrets.

Would I read it again? Maybe.
Would I recommend it to anyone? Absolutely, yes.
Will I read the second book of the series? Of course.

The enemies to lovers in this book is AMAZING

3.5⭐️

I have conflicting feelings because the first half was so good, very pacy but the second half just lost my interest. Possibly because it’s more YA and less fantasy? Also for some reason I couldn’t picture any of the settings or characters in this book and I simply refuse to acknowledge Jase being blonde
