3,5/5. These books have been getting darker, but this volume is the grimmest yet.

Really a 4.5. It is bllleeeaaakk, unrelentingly so. The mechanics of the ghost circles kind of make the stakes feel a little too loose for my tastes but still very good

Now things are getting real. This volume was much more intense than previous volumes.

I'm going to stop reviewing until the final volume.

The gang goes to the ancient royal city of Atreia. In the meantime, a bunch of boring episodes with varying distractions occur... I wish I could say I'm loving it, but man, it's dragging. For once I will admit it, it's definitely dragging. Let's see if it recovers right before the ending though, I've heard it's great...

Also, the B Plot somehow redeemed it. I liked what Lucius was up to for once. His scenes weren't too bad. And Bartendy (?) is getting big and that's kind of cute. Meh...
