A fun and likeable read – my own political views clashed with the main characters', but that aside, I appreciated the realism of the developing relationship between Calan and Sadie. The hero has a lot of baggage behind him, but the heroine makes sure that they can both confront and rise above it. There's no mention of the three word sentence, but you know it's implicit, or soon will be. Wish more novels went down this track.
