Guilty pleasure read. Not something to be proud of, but binging Vanderpump Rules got me through applying for a new job and writing my dissertation at the same time last year. Obviously nothing shocking, revealing, or particularly insightful here, but I did kinda want to know what Stassi is up to after the show, and how she’d frame being “canceled.” I know there was probably a ghost writer here, but this book really did sound like Stassi Schroeder, and you can take that fact in any direction of your choosing when determining the quality of this book.

I really enjoyed the first book but this one I found to be a bit repetitive. I personally don’t think there wasn’t enough time spent on accountability for some of the racism she was accused of - it felt like she was complaining at times rather than sharing more in detail what she learned or what she educated herself on. I was also hoping for more fun stories, like the ones about her wedding, rather than lists of food she ate while pregnant. I enjoy her ideals but didn’t find it well executed in this book.
