This book has some great ideas but I wish it had given more focus to just a few of them rather than trying to do all of them at once.

i really wanted to enjoy it, i really did, but this just wasn't for me. the story is set after a zombie apocalypse and follows vivi, a girl who is haunted by her demons. i found this hard to follow, to be honest. the jumps between scenes were too abrupt and i often got lost in the story. i think this would've been a lot better if it were longer and more profound! the characters felt flat and if we got more of their thoughts and depth overall, it would be more enjoyable. i have to admit that i didn't care about the characters at all.
the world building was poor as well - i have so many questions about the plant zombies but we don't know what started the apocalypse and many other things.

so in conclusion i can say that the idea was good, but it could've been much better

This book made me feel things that I've only ever experienced reading Junji Ito. Beautiful, dark, real.

I feel like this had a lot of potential but the plot ended up being a bit messy with not a lot of things being explained.

This book was fine. I thought the art was nice, the zombies were unique as zombies go, and that there were some parts that I found really lovely (like finding the silver lining of the apocalypse being that we could see the stars again). But beyond that it just didn't super click for me.
