3.5 ⭐️— I thought this was super fun. I love feminist twists on the final girl trope, and I love cabin in the woods stories, and I love horror movies. Especially meta commentary about horror movies. I don’t mind reading script format either, which seems to have upset some reviewers. A fun and solid read, and I love the setting of West Cork!

A very fun and quick read! It was mildly predictable in a few aspects, but I was having so much fun reading that I didn’t mind. I had a little help with the atmosphere as I was finishing up: I basically live in a cabin in the woods, it was raining/snowing all day, my fire was going, and my bf left the house for several hours, and I even heard a few unexplainable noises on the roof! Lol
