Great book premise. I was a little confused by the story inside the story and how it tied together at the end. But a LOT of good suspense.

What a creepy story! Perfect for fans of Inception and Blair Witch Project (and I loved both)! I can't think of a better Halloween book.

Run time takes place in the woods, in the middle of nowhere with no phone signal and no chance to escape...

Adele Rafferty is an actress who can't find a decent job after an accident on the set. That's why she agrees to take part in a secret location, being hired last minute she doesn't even have time to properly check people behind the film.

Her role is quite simple - she plays Kate, who is reading a book and the things from the book start happening to her in real life. It wouldn't be weird... if those things haven't start happening to Adele as well!
The story takes us through Adele's past and problems, as well as present time and horror unraveling around her.

Run Time is a psychological thriller with unexpected twists and really dark moments.

I loved it, although it made me a little bit scared, when I was reading it in the late evening!

I definitely want to read more Catherine's books, she became my must-read author!

Talk about a book with layers! This story follows along with former soap star Adele as she makes a horror movie based upon a book that's events are happening to the person in the movie, but are also seeming to happen to Adele as she is on set. The combination of story within a story, within a story and an unreliable narrator makes this a book that one will want to re-read. It's easy to get lost in all the layers, and question what is real, and what isn't. It's laid out in an interesting format too, with parts of the movie script included throughout. This is an atmospheric thriller/horror tale that will keep the reader on their toes.

**I received a copy of this title from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.**

I liked Night Film better.
But this was still a pretty good time.
I don’t read many thrillers; to me they’re  kind of like book candy—an easy way to satisfy a craving (a simple pleasure read that keeps me turning pages) that I may or may not regret later.
Critiques could be made about the plot & characters (I’m not sure how I feel about the resolution, for one thing), but since all I *really* want from a thriller is a non-cringey fun time, and this one was pretty decent, I’ll leave it at that.
