Not as compelling as the first one but still a good, fast and enjoyable reading. Going straight for the third.

Non avvincente come il primo, ma anche stavolta si legge molto velocemente ed é piacevole. Ora si parte direttamente con il terzo!

I found the shift of focus to a completely different character and location interesting, though didn't like waiting so long to see Ged. The priestess life aspect did get slightly slow but was important in building the culture and characters. I enjoyed seeing a new perspective on Ged and how he interacts with someone new. I also enjoyed the themes of power and darkness that the book explored. The magic and Wizard philosophy of how it should be used is great, although I want more of it!!
