This was a fun read as someone who enjoys the Grishaverse and wanted more background on the world building. It’s interesting to read about different saints, both those you have seen/learned about in the novels as well as others that are new to the reader. Not necessary by any means, but a beautiful collection of short stories for the Grishaverse fan.

Loved this! I skipped one of the Saint's stories because I knew it would trigger me, but I read the rest. There's definitely some dark subject matter in this book, but I don't think that will surprise you if you've read The Grisha Trilogy.

A collection of short stories.  I liked learning the history of the universe. Getting insight into the saints, the places and characters of grishaverse.

Super dark and gory, and it all reads like scary tales to tell children.
Poor Saints, mostly had such misfortune.
There were some great ones, my favorite the first and last.
Also, the one about the unbreachable Crystal Palace… oh well The Crows didn’t find it so, ups.
I’m curious to see how these play out in the show, though.
