More! I need more!

3.5 stars.

Eh. This second volume's plot didn't at all go the way I'd expect after the first. It's still unapologetically hardcore feminist, and maybe a little too on the nose about it.

"Well, I always figured the devil for a white girl."

This comic is just so so good and unbelievably tense and fantastic and I really love the direction that it's heading in with Eleanor Doane and "I am ready for whatever comes." Also loved that last bit with Kylie.

Read for the Set on Another Planet prompt of my 2018 Popsugar Reading Challenge graphic novel run.

I liked this one SO much better than Vol. 1. Where I found Vol. 1 to be heavy-handed, Vol. 2 was slightly more nuanced - plus I just enjoyed the story more! I wish there was a Vol. 3, but some things just aren't meant to be. :(

What a great follow up to the first volume! There are two nice twists in this volume, and I continue to admire how self-aware the creators are of their own privilege and bias. If you've not picked up this series yet, what are you waiting for?! The patriarchy isn't going to smash itself! And reading this will get you all riled up to go out and do just that.

Kind of makes me want to get a tattoo like Leigh Bardugo did.

I haven't been this excited about a series in a long time. Bitch Planet is smart, socially conscious and extremely well written.

I'm really digging this series. The story is full, riveting, and relatable. The fake ads are darkly funny. The action is searing. You definitely want to know where this is heading - I know I do!
