Very good, but not as eye-opening as vol. 1. One disappointment is that I expected this volume from 2017 to conclude the series, but it doesn't. Another thing is I didn't catch the inclusion of trans women (or rather, their segregation) until very late, but it could be because I'm super tired.

A step back from the opening volume as we miss Meiko. The revolution is raging on and Kam has newfound help. The book has the same great feel but I think there is so much missing. This world is explored some but not enough. And then the shock ending that wasn't. The art was still fantastic and a great compliment to the story. Overall, there seems like so much was left out that I'm left wanting so much more.

I really enjoy this series, it's so thought provoking as well as enraging. The art is also on point!
I can't wait to read the third one and see where the revolution goes from here.

Arrived - and completed - today! The intensity, devotion, and emotion. It's just all so well done. And the artwork blows my damn mind! The "advertisements" are so creative, funny, and sadly, true.

Qué maravilla, cuánto para aprender y debatir.

This volume collects #6-10 of 10 (not including the spin-off).

Continuation of a super fun, bold, and well-drawn comic... This volume starts with Meiko’s backstory
(RIP). We find out that her dad, the engineer of the reality TV show, has actually been part of the resistance all along! He was intentionally sabotaging the ships! And now he’s about to fuck some shit up. We love a male ally.

We also get some trans rep!
Kamau’s sister, who she has been looking for this whole time, is trans (naturally, they keep us transes in a different facility). We also finally get to meet the infamous rebellion leader Eleanor, who has been trapped in solitary confinement.

Unfortunately, just as the story is kicking into high gear, the comic falls victim to the most dreaded villain known to Image Comics readers… Hiatus! 😱
