I'm not sure I understood exactly what was being conveyed but I loved the writing. There is a quote in the book from one of the characters commenting on a story written by another character saying, "It's not something to like or dislike." (I'm not sure on exact wording, forgive me) That is how I felt about this book. It has something of the gutwrenching atmosphere of Normal People, also this book reminds me of Acts of Service, but with better writing.
The story is maybe a bit disjointed and incomplete but it is also so raw and intoxicating. I wouldn't exactly recommend this book to a friend but I found it strangely touching and moving.

Not so good as "The sun also rises", but the autobiografic style reveals the problems with the hemingway's marriage.
It's a good book, but has no story. Like a diary of 3 people summer love. Lot's of drinking and sunny days.
I's the "famous five" as adults and frustrated with life.

Well, well, well. This was much saucier than I expected. Bravo, Ernest.

Just awful. No plot, poorly written, scattered, women are crazy, etc. Just not an enjoyable book.
