I was not expecting to like Lightlark as much as I did, the love triangle, I did not anticipate the plot twist at the end but I knew it had to be good with the build up.
Idk why I’ve seen so many negative reviews on this book recently. It’s a nice, not too complicated, fantasy that was really easy to get into.
The plot was intriguing and made you want to find out more! Really looking forward to the next book, hope there’s more romance between the end couple. I’m shipping them!

Dnf’d at 46%. I really tried to like this and be engaged with what was happening, but I couldn’t bring myself to really care about anything. The world-building is nonsensical and the plot is all over the place. The characters had no real depth and were not captivating. It felt like there was possibly going to be a love triangle, but there was no real tension built up between any of them. The writing is not good. There’s no real style to it, and was making the story feel so flat.
