Pride and Prejudice took me a little bit of time to get into, but the way Jane Austen describes her characters - especially Elizabeth Bennet (I LOVED her!) - makes the whole story captivating. This book is well worth it if only to fall in love with the characters (or love to hate some of the characters and there are a few).

I get it. I get why the girlies are like that. I get it.

One you get past the language barrier, nay, once you embrace the language barrier, you get it. The language is beautiful. The story is juicy. I love hot goss no matter the era. I had a great time and I was inspired to write so you know what? Extra points. What a great book.

I'm so glad I finally got to this one. I'd only read Mansfield Park before this and didn't enjoy it that much. This book was so fun and I loved all the characters!
I got so annoyed with Mr. Collins and Mr. Wickham! lol
It said a lot about not having preconceptions of others and listening to rumours before making your opinions of those around you. This does make me excited for the next book in the Mr. Darcy and Miss Tilney series! :)
