It was the style of writing that kept me from reading the rest of the book. Not my cuppa.

I loved this book. It's fresh, different (in a positive way) and funny as hell.

Izzy doesn't really date and the one time that she decides to go on a date and have some fun is when one of the Dark Fae (a good luck eater) named Zander. It's nearly to late but Izzy is saved by the Light Fae as they are chasing Xander. Bain (so swoon worthy) and Uriah. This is where Izzy starts to have accidents and needs their help but she is stubborn. Magen has created a unique and beautiful world with in depth characters that you learn to love not all right from the beginning and one character in this case Lady Esperenza not at all. Altogether there are 5 warriors. Cree who is with Rowan (Bain's sister) Bain, Uriah, Lothar and Kale. Kale is the next one in the series and I can't wait.

Wow Magen you're a great storyteller, i didn't even realise the book had chapters until the end. Your ability of linking chapters together seamlessly is out of this work. Nice book keep up the good work!!!

Having read a lot of vampire-related books recently, I assumed from the title that this was another.
Although they do get mentioned, they're not the main species in this story.

Meet Izzy, the successful events planner who is enjoying life.

But after meeting a mysterious man through her younger sister, her world and everything she believes (or doesn't believe) in is tipped upside down!

The author has given us a great plot, good character progression and descriptions. The world she creates has a medieval mixed with present day feel to it.

A great read that I would recommend.
