Things I liked:

I think your enjoyment of this book will really depend on how much you like philosophy and which translation you read. Apparently my audiobook and ebook were both different translations, and the audiobook was so much better and easier to get through. However, this book really wasn't for me. The narrative is incredibly philosophical and Camus somehow manages to make the plague boring. There are too many characters and the pace of the book is incredibly slow. Even in a world with a deadly plague, nothing much seemed to happen. There were some beautiful or entertaining bits, but they were overshadowed by everything else. There is also quite a large part about religion, which personally doesn't interest me at all.
Overall, this book was really hard to get through and I wouldn't recommend it. 1/5
