An army lad with a troubled past, a girl with a crush on her best friend's brother, where could this go wrong? No where, well other than a sticky situation on of them lands in and a single heated night that's left them both a little hurt and sheepish.

This book is packed with excitement. It has twists and turns throughout, really giving you a chance to feel part of the commotion, but also really keeping you on your toes, from cover to cover. I liked that. Whilst it is very much a romance read, you are given a lot outside of that to think about, experience and be along on the ride for.

The main characters where perfectly written for each other. They are both strong-willed, know what they like and will do what it takes to get what the want, even if it is not always in their own best interests. They are spunky and fun, giving you a very passionate spark between them, a well a the actual care and devotion you get from two people who have known each other so well, for years.

I liked the pace and how the story progressed. I really felt that it left you guessing and wondering what would happen next. You could also feel the tension between the two of them, whether on good terms or bad.

The excitement and brilliant writing style, we have come to know from Phillips, makes it very easy to try and read this all in one sitting.

Overall, I highly recommend checking out this book and all of this series.

As this series comes to a close, I feel like my family story is ending! This series of books is such fun, each with their own alpha hero, each time thinking that one is my favorite. I am not sure Tyler is my favorite, but I certainly fell in love with him. His past has definitely taken a toll on his way of thinking, and I love how Phillips has had this man, grow and mature into the incredible person he has become. Along with Ella, who also has things in her past to address, these two have a passion that is overpowering and intoxicating. Add in the epilogue and culmination of the family(with the birth of two babies and oh, have Tyler hold his nephew for the first time! Men with babies....need I say more?) this is a beautiful ending to the series. With a look to Kaden Barnes, the next series is sure to have sightings of these Dare men, something to look forward to!

Nothing compares to Sophie Eastlake's narrations. She is always a pleasure to listen to, voicing both the alpha male and the strong female with ease and giving plenty of entertainment.

Dare to Take is the next and the final planned book of the Dare Siblings. This book was bitter sweet for me because I absolutely love this series and am sad to see it finish. The story itself was a classic story line done in a fresh way. Tyler was alpha, just like the rest of the Dare males and Ella was his perfect match. I spent the entire story wanting their HEA and my heart broke at some of the twists that came up as things were revealed. I can't say enough good things about this story and tell readers that it is a satisfying end to this series while still leaving it open to more stories should Carly Phillips decide to return to this complex family. This book gets 5 stars from me and just emphasizes why I'm such a fan of Carly's writing.

Oh man I absolutely loved this book from beginning to end! I finished it in 4 hours and I'm so sad it's over. The chemistry between Ella and Tyler was off the charts! I love that they have a history and a strong connection to each other. I felt so many emotions while reading. I smiled, laughed, gasped and teared up while reading this book. It was just everything I love in a romance book!! The storyline was good and I didn't see the twist coming at all! The story had romance, comedy and angst. I loved how Ella and Tyler both had issues and needed the other person to complete them. They were an ideal couple, they listened to each other, pushed each other and were there for each other when things got rough. There's a shower scene in the book (not what you're thinking) that will tug at your heart! This book was just excellent!! I loved it so much and everyone needs to read this book and the rest of the series while you are at it!! I love it when I read an author I've never heard or for the first time and her book knocks me off my feet!

Dare to Take is a second chance romance and last in the Dare series. Eight years later after a good but horrible first interaction. Tyler and Ellie are thrown back together and work through their personal issues as well as recovering from the scars that plague them for most of their lives. These 2 has hot chemistry and Carly Phillips never leaves me hanging with this series except for wanting more. Sad to see this is the final book in this Dare series but with cousins and Kindle World we have not seen the last of the Dare family.

Dare To Take is book number 9 of the Dare To Love series and I have never read any of the previous books in this series but you don't have to read the other books.

I absolutely loved this book and I have to tell you I read this book in one day because I just couldn't put it down.

I love the story and I love the main characters. This book is sexy and it got me to laugh and also feel sad. Gotta love books like that.

I liked this book so much that I added all the other books in the Dare To Love series to my long list of books to read.
