Khúc đầu còn hấp dẫn. Đọc đến đoạn giữa thấy hack não quá. Khó hiểu quá nên bỏ qua.

3 stars.

I was recommended this book by my cousin with the disclaimer “this is trash” and...she was right hahah But it’s that fun trash.
I was actually impressed with the seamless way Moning introduced her world of the far. It wasn’t info-dumpy at all and the reader’s knowledge grew along with the main character’s in a reasonable well-paced way. The characters are also fun and the tease of future smut presented here gave me a reason to keep reading.
However, there were a LOT of things that were cringeworthy or not well done: swapping out curse words for words like ‘petunia’, reminding me incessantly that our main character is a girly girl and loves the color pink, the wayyy too overt 90s references, and sometimes waxing poetic about topics as if Moning is a mother giving her readers a lecture about life.

My cousin told me that it only gets better from here as Moning Jones her craft so with that endorsement I’m willing to read the next in the series. It was a fun ride overall

LONG overdue re-read - now that I've read other urban fantasy and fantasy romance, these books are even better than the first time around. Upgrading from 3 stars to 4
