Disney has ruined many a fairy tale and  this is one of them. I found the classic fairy tale a much more enjoyable story even in it’s ridiculousness. This was an enjoyable read aloud  for my 6 year old son and I at bedtime.

Pinocchio is hanged by a tree until almost dead in the middle of the book. He is also beat and treated as a dog.
