This is the third book in the series and these books just keep getting better. I could hardly put this book down. I loved that Holly is a baker. It's a big draw for me. Plus she loves Christmas as much as I do. She's started her life on her terms for once and it's so beautiful to watch her bloom. The Coven are a big support system for her and they take her under their wing. Vince is just yummy and he's one patent guy when it comes to Holly. In my opinion it shows how deeply he cares. I truly love this group of friends and family. It makes me want to be part of them. I loved the humor in this book. I laughed quite often especially when the Coven get together. Another little thing I loved their was a Pippa Grant reference. It's was really to see one of my favorite authors mentioned and they also agreed on the awesomeness of book boyfriend material Ares is. I really can't wait for the next book in the series. It's a must read for sure!

What can I say about Vince and Holly!! [insert gif of Hilary Duff fanning herself] They are hot hot hot!! Add in a group of friends that would do anything for each other, laugh out loud text threads and a coffee shop I need in my life - this book is everything!! Another hit from Alley! My favorite BTU Alumni book so far!!

I was blessed to be given an ARC copy of this book. Sweet Victory is a wonderful mixture of fantastic characters and interesting plot which keeps the story entertaining. I couldn't put it down! This book is the third in the BTU Alumni series by the author but could be read as a stand-alone book. I highly recommend this series if you love a good book with some witty dialogue sure to make you laugh out loud.
The main characters are Vince and Holly and their story is the perfect mix of holiday/sports romance that makes you believe in true love. I love the determination of Vince and his willingness to put in the work. He is a truly sexy alpha male that is swoon worthy! There is no shame in his romance game! Holly is sweet but she has an inner strength that is hard not to admire. She's determined to live life on her own terms.

Since this is my first book by Alley Ciz all the side characters were a bit confusing.
I really enjoyed Vince and Holly’s story. I loved that we were able to learn about her background and everything she was able to breakaway from. I loved how clueless and sweet Vince was.
In this book we get Vince’s story and I must say I have been looking forward to his book for a while because in the other books he’s the laid back, joking, alpha fighter who loves his comics and all things nerds. Vince’s loyalty to his friends and sister’s friends is amazing and they all have each other’s back as usual. So, when Vince meets Holly, she is it for him, he knows instantly he wants to keep her forever, but Holly has secrets of her own. As Vince prepares for the fight of his career, he I also bracing for the fight of his life in making Holly see they belong together. I loved we got to see more of this group, they must be one of my favorite group of family and friends ever. Vince and Holly have a few obstacles to get through to see if they get their happily ever after and I loved every second of his alphaness. I hope we continue to get more and more of this group.

I really feel like Alley hit her stride in this book. Holly is a fun character, relatable, despite her upper crust upbringing.
I enjoyed getting to know Vince in this book and the descriptions of his abs will make you drool.
Alley's large cast of characters with multiple nicknames sometimes makes the book confusing, but the more you read, the better you get at it.
