He makes great points, but then seems to spend an additional dozen pages repeating the same thing in different ways. Lots of the writing seems to be stream of consciousness. Also he takes the theology that I would agree with and extrapolates it until I think it becomes non-biblical. Example would be the importance of living a life of discipleship, but then he extrapolates until failure to do this perfectly results in loss of salvation. While he states he does not believe in salvation by works his actual theology is extremely works based. Overall I was very disappointed in this book as I was really looking forward to it.
Surprisingly approachable writing, this book is not for the new believer for sure. It's very in your face with what the author believes (very convincingly) it means to follow Jesus, being all in with every aspect of our lives. This has the rep of being a must read and I can see why.
