Look this isn’t going to rock your literary brain. I do think the writer could spend less time with a thesaurus, but this is silly fun and the target market will and should enjoy this. It’s about getting your space marine on.

This was my first 40k book and I went in blind. The plot was more black-and-white than I expected. Reminded me a bit of Starship Troopers. Still an enjoyable read.
