I rated this book an 7.5 out of 10. This emotional story hits close to home in multiple ways. It's easy to put yourself into each character's shoes and understand their individual point of views. I feel the story would've been more enjoyable without the romance.

This was a quick read for me, and I have some mixed feelings. I really enjoyed the story of Kenna and her journey to get her daughter back. She had everything going against her, but she knew that her daughter was the entire world and wanted to be a positive addition to her life. I wish the focus of the book was more on Kenna than anything else.

I felt there were additions to the story that I couldn't care less about. The shmexy scenes were toned down slightly, but I could've done without them in general. I didn't want a relationship. I also felt this was a typical romcom... nothing new. It accomplished the goal of getting people emotional, but the story is the same.

my first CoHo book and I really enjoyed it. More than I thought I would. Great story about love, tragedy, family and found family.

This book was devastating and phenomenal. Colleen Hoover has the power to rip your heart out and wow you with a plot like no other. Every book I’ve read of hers has made me so GIDDY with the need to tell someone about it, and this one was probably at the top of the list. The writing was impeccable and so perfectly navigated the nuance of such a complex, heartbreaking situation. Love it. Love her. Wow.
