This second book of the green mile was better than book 1. I loved to read about that special mouse on green mile. Loved the action going on and where the story is going. The writing was smooth and easy. I am loving this so much!

I'm less satisfied with this section. It's all history and Percy and less story. King is all about the story with in the story. He's all condiments and I want some meat.

remembering now why edouard delacroix was one of my favourite stephen king characters - although in reading it now, i think it's actually his story i love, not the guy himself.  with how dark these books are, i love the constant affirmation of people fundamentally wanting to do their best for others.
