Leto!! Get your spicy ass over here so I can give you a hug.

Hating or loving his mad godhead reign, I wouldn’t dare disrespect the insane character development Frank Herbert crafted for—and through—him across the entire series, especially in the final chapters of this one.

Got the feeling that GEOD is so rich in philosophical fiction that, in retrospect, the first book feels like it barely scratched the surface of Frank’s inner writing potential. But Paul had to walk so Leto II could ride his cart. Praise!!!!!

On the other hand, even if the ending isn’t bad at all, it unfortunately doesn’t quite measure up to the quality level of the saga’s earlier entries.

- I am god emperor tyrant worm of the known universe my only weakness is beautiful young women
- My favorite part of this is when Frank said women are better soldiers because theyre not prone to homosexuality in large numbers like men are

Dune keeps getting weirder, I don't know if i want to follow the whole horny train frank allegedly went on in the last two books, but I am happy I read to this one, I kind of love Leto and how catty he is even though he really sucks, charismatic leaders are something to be wary of. Sorry almost went on a political tangent and everyone knows dune isn't political.
