This was an interesting short listen on audible. Was similar to a podcast in parts which was good. I had a feeling about the ending but I won't ruin it for anyone who would like to listen to it 😊

This is the length of a novella, a short 3 or so hours in audio which translates to 1 or 1.5 on the speed I listen. It goes quick. I really enjoyed this one and it was narrated by Dakota Fanning which is what drew my eye as I was curious.

Paige finds herself suddenly back in her hometown and no career plans in front of her. At the urging of her sister, Paige, who was once a journalist, decides to start a podcast on the unsolved case of a beloved teacher, Jessica Cady, who died quite a few years prior. The more Paige digs, the more secrets she uncovers and someone in the small town is willing to do what it takes to keep their secrets buried.

Paige continues despite a few obstacles and finds herself face to face with the killer. Will she be the next victim or will she find justice for Jessica?
