Alright, I have been teased and teased with this book for months. MONTHS. I am so glad that these two brilliant brains put this world together. I am in LOVE!!

This is okay at best. The whole witness protection aspect is super unbelievable and poorly designed. The guys don’t really come across as scary just whiny teenagers. The whole mean girl Amber really isn’t needed and very cliché. Forgiving Creed for basically raping Hailee and saying it’s just him is weak and unforgivable. Overall the premise is interesting but needs work.

I feel like there’s a lot of potential here — that’s the only reason I’m going to continue the series. There’s a lot of time jumping, so much so that I’m not even really sure how much time has passed from the start to the end of the book. The premise is interesting though and the cliffhanger is definitely effective.

BUT still 100% fun to read. I was a bit torn on the rating but ultimately went with 3 because while I enjoyed how insane the story was it had too many other things going against it to rate higher. If you don’t take it too seriously this is a fun story for all it’s insanity.
