★ – didn’t like/DNF
★★ – was okay, but I probably won’t look for any sequels
★★★- was good, I’ll likely read the next one
★★★★ – I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was great and I’ll definitely be looking for any sequels
★★★★★ – I loved it so much I’m adding the paperback to my cart right now
So I had to knock a star off immediately though. Why? Okay so i’m like two chapters in and already i have to say. Witness protection doesn’t work like that. For one the FBI might request WITSEC but the US Marshall would take over, the FBI wouldn’t know where they are. Their only point of contact knowing their location, new identities and original identities should be the Marshall handling their case and definitely not make the local police away because and as is the case if there’s any corrupt cops it compromises the persons safety. The fewer people who know the better.
The only way i can see this being somewhat credible is if (and if i’m correct ill hide with with a spoiler)
I'd you can get past the inaccuracies of witness protection (it's more like police/federal protection) then the story gets interesting enough that I'll probably read the next one.

Spoiler
the FBI agent is dirty and didn’t actually go through WITSEC but wants Haliee and her dad to think they’re in witness protection. Alright so it isn't confirmed but I'm still yagging it as spoiler cause like there's no way he's not dirty.I'd you can get past the inaccuracies of witness protection (it's more like police/federal protection) then the story gets interesting enough that I'll probably read the next one.

Having read the list of trigger warnings, I went into this book very hesitant. Mostly because it did not specify if these things were with members within the harem or not.
Non/con and dub/con, is not something I enjoy, neither is rape within the main relationship/harem.
So for anyone who are hesitant for these same reasons:
-Non/con is between her and a male in the harem.
-Dub/con (or unsafe, rough bdsm) is between two males in the harem.
-Attempted rape from a male outside the harem.

If you like the only emotions your characters express to be sobbing or screaming then this is the book for you. There’s almost no character development, maybe the author didn’t know how to develop 8 main characters at once?? Also the MMC (male main characters) didn’t know what a period is?? Anyways - as long as you’re cool with no context, no backstory, no visual descriptions, and no transitions, then you’re golden! If you appreciate good writing with correct grammar then this is not the book for you. It’s painful to read which sucks because the general plot is good. But there are awkward gaps in time that are skipped over that should have been written to actually develop the plot.
PHENOMENAL
JUST PHENOMENAL DIDNT EXCEPT THIS LEVEL OF COMMITMENT FROM THESE SEVEN WHACKO MEN IT HAS ME WANTING THIS NEXT BOOK RIGHT DAMN NOW
JUST PHENOMENAL DIDNT EXCEPT THIS LEVEL OF COMMITMENT FROM THESE SEVEN WHACKO MEN IT HAS ME WANTING THIS NEXT BOOK RIGHT DAMN NOW
- the seven guys claim to be psychos, act like immature high school boys
- the seven claim to kill people who rape, hurt and abuse woman yet
forgive one of their own for doing the exact same - that same guy (Creed) also just
rapes his victims but it's supposed to be okay because that's just who he is ig - typical sweet innocent, pasty white, tiny, innocent, virgin fmc
Graphic: Rape, Torture
Ahhh this was so good!!!! Love Lukas, and the guys, and Haliee. I was shocked when Brent was taken because normally it would be Haliee but with Brent gone it was just as gut-wrenching.
This was seriously so good! Like, I’m OBSESSED with it.
I wanted to like this book
I liked the idea for this book but for me it all seemed so rushed. There was no real character building and I understand that FMC is only 18 but she seemed really immature at times. Like I said I loved the premise of the story it just didn't come together for me.

I really tried to like this book but there were too many things I didn’t like. The guys all act be like she is the most traumatized being but she’s fine. All the guys have terrible pasts but they try to act like her past is just as terrible when nothing actually happened to her. Don’t even get me started on Dimitri, I don’t want to spoil it so I won’t say anything but that was storyline choice was disappointing.
I was intrigued at the beginning and I thought the story was going to be good but then they randomly jump one month and act like two of the characters are in love. The problem is we didn’t get to see anything that happened in the month so it’s hard to feel connected to the characters and their love.
Grammar isn’t a dealbreaker for me but I just wish the storyline would’ve been better. It was hard to connect to any of the characters and I wasn’t rooting for anyone :(
