A companion to “The Dictionary of Lost Words” Life in Britain surrounding WW I. So many things are changing for everyone. And yet something’s never change.

Beautiful book. Historically accurate book with good research behind it - includes real historical figures, media, timeline. Delved into the bookbinding process and very clearly depicts the social dynamics there through the life of mc and a variety of characters with differing temperaments, social standing, ages and role in the war. Really amazing character and world development.
