I didn’t like this book for the first 300 pages. I did really like the last 50 or so, but it didn’t save it.

I really enjoyed this book overall. If I were a big Shakespeare fan I think I would’ve connected with it even more, but I thought it moved fast and kept me entertained and engaged!

This is a good book and I did enjoy it. I can especially see how others enjoy it more. The audiobook was very well done as well. I just got a little bored with the melodramatic nature of literally everything. I can't say I wasn't surprised by the ending either. Everything kind of just happened; it felt very "slice of life" to a certain extent.

I wanted to love it!

The pacing of this book was a bit off for me, but the real reason I gave it three stars instead four is the truly insufferable amount of Shakespeare. I didn’t even read this much Shakespeare when I was assigned it in high school English class, I did not want it n a leisure reading book.
