I loved this book! An easy read, I was drawn in by this story of two generations of women and the NY Public Library. A story about family, hope, and books.

It took me a little while to get into this book but once I did, I couldn’t put it down. I would put this almost a 4. I don’t suggest listening to it, I did not care for the narrator.
The premise of a family living in a library-yes! Loved the back-and-forth between the past and modern day. Interesting twist at the end.

I love how this author goes between multiple time periods in her historical fiction stories. This one takes place in the New York Public Library 1913 and 1993. I liked the mystery, the family connection between leading lady 1913- Laura Lyons and 1993- Sadie Donovan. I of course enjoyed the setting of this book in NYC and also this beautiful library.
