DNF at 40+ percent … I just couldn’t get into this one! Didn’t find it interesting and the story didn’t really engage me at all… not sure if it’s because I was listening to the audio book version or not but in any case, I’m onto the next one!

A book I started on vacation. Loved the back and forth between present day and 1993. Alternated listening and reading the book so can recommend both. Will be adding all of her other books to my TBR and this is an author who I will automatically read anything new she has coming out.

3.5 stars! I liked this book and it kept my interest, I just wish the characters had a little more depth. I hated how Sadie second guessed every interaction she had. I loved Laura's character, but I do wish her struggle to break away from expectations was discussed more. I just feel like everything happened too fast and the end was tied then together neatly.
