A fun twist on a rom com! The mystery wasn’t all that difficult to figure out and definitely not the focus of the book. A very different plot line for this author and I really enjoyed the added mystery element. Don’t worry the romance and spice are still there!

I loved this book so much. Miles has my heart. The audiobook is spectacular and the narrators are perfect!

i was not expecting this to be so cute and funny. at the same time, i get why people would hate it, lol—there was some cringe.

i don’t like dual pov but this one is fine—except all the smut is in his pov smh.
the writing is great! the couple is compatible (which i don’t always feel in romance books lbr) and aware of their own flaws and feelings.

Really enjoyed reading and I wasn't entirely sure where it would lead to in the end! Did keep me guessing! Really loveable characters too!! Not sure if I would re-read a bunch just because now I do know the ending, but maybe once or twice! Especially to see if I can pick up anything I missed on the first read!

Tessa Bailey does it again!! This book is adorable. Taylor and Myles are adorable together and their relationship not only makes sense but it felt like every interaction was magnetic. I usually hate the whole they fall in love in 5 days shit but this book does it right.

Fun enough, but didn’t feel like it had much substance to either the muster or the romance.  Forced proximity, insta-lust.

Spicy grumpy sunshine age gap summer holiday romance with some murder mystery sprinkled in.

I definitely unestimated the amount of spice that would be in this book. I really enjoyed the overall writing and characters, especially how genuinely well developed and written they were. Throughout most of the middle it sorta just turned in to a smutfest (which isn’t the reason I picked this book up) instead of focusing on the murder mystery plot.
However, when the plot picked up near the end and Myles and Taylor accepted their feelings for eachother as well as the resolving murder mystery, I loved it!!
I really loved the ending and their overall relationship dynamic. In general I do wish we got more of an explanation on Jude’s subplot and also less spice bc at times it really didn’t add anything to the plot. Overall i still enjoyed it.
