It was good just not something I had the energy for at the moment

Check trigger warnings (I can only get the ones that I recognize but there are probably more)

An amazing read. The antisemitism discussion hit me hard personally, and I had to take a step back for a day. But highly recommend to let any pre-voting-age teen in your life to read it. I think it can make an amazing effect on them.

This book mixed well the coming of age story with the politics and religious themes. I loved both of the characters, especially the different narrators, and how they got along.
It has a great storytelling and I loved the small conflicts throughout the book.

A mostly light, fun YA romance with politics thrown in for contemporary relevance. The writing wasn’t thrilling, and it was a bit too long for what it was, but I enjoyed it well enough.

For no reason in particular cough
he put their photo on insa without asking, therefore breaking trust, invading children's privacy and then acting like he was perfectly within his right to
cough, I hate Gabe.
Also this book is so slow, it took me forever to read, but I will say Jamie was anxious without being obnoxious, which is a hard thing to master.
Loving the muslin, poc and jewish rep but I found the plot soooooo drawn out. OMG and
Sophie!! This is a great example of background queer characters done well!
. Although this book felt a little patronising at many points, very motivational message above in character speach.
