Definitely more relatable than "Dawn", this book was still a little difficult to get through. The book was told from a very personal perspective, which while I was thoroughly interested in, I still had difficulty grasping. It is probably the fact that without having experienced the Holocaust personally, I simply will never be able to imagine exactly what it, and its aftermath, would be like for a survivor.

NIGHT is the star in this trilogy. Dawn is good, but this one is not worth it IMHO.
