Nadia the mum my least favourite character, the things she did didn’t make sense as a mum, I would never do what she did in the past especially. I’m guessing there be more to come with this character when I read the next book.

I received my copy of this audiobook as part of the Love Books Tours in exchange for an honest review.

I loved the multiple POVs of this story. So many family secrets that you learn as the story unfolds. I personally didn't find any of the characters likable in this popcorn thriller but enjoyed the family drama aspects. This one is full of twists as you learn what each of them is hiding.

If you enjoy locked room mystery full of family drama and secrets this one might be for you.

Mikayla David's has become a favourite author of mine and I loved this intricate web of lies which has entangled and fractured a family in the process of keeping them. This story is told from 5 POV's (the 3 sisters, the mother and one of the husbands), as we go through them we find that all of them has secrets and also also has the accompanying trauma which goes along with the lie that effects them. I was sucked into this story that i read it in one sitting and now I want to go on and read the next books in the series.

The story of a family divided and torn apart by tragedy is a good one. However, I wouldn’t truly call this a thriller or suspense, as well over half the book has zero murder and there was little suspense. I was expecting a classic locked room whodunnit and got a lot of domestic disharmony instead. The story as it’s told is a good one and I’m looking forward to the sequel as well.

This book had me absolutely enthralled! Who knew one small family could have so many life altering secrets! I read this book in a matter of hours because I just couldn’t get enough of the drama and the surprising revelations. When I say surprising, I really mean it. There were things I definitely did NOT see coming! By the time I got to the end I was so ready to start the next installment!

this wasn’t anything crazy, just a quick and easy thriller. i liked it

Wow! Wow! Wow! My head is still spinning from this book. From the early teases leaving you guessing to the many, many unexpected twists, this book keeps you on the edge of your seat the entire time. Even with 5 different points of view, it's still surprisingly easy to follow and keep track of who's storyline you're in. I loved that we get different perspectives of the same scenes to draw out even more drama. I'm not sure my jaw will ever recover from hitting the floor.

Wow. This book left me in complete shock. The plot was so good and gripping. The events in the book are described in multiple points of view, what makes the story even better and more complete. The Bailey family has so many secrets and nothing is what is seems. All the plottwists were unexpected and unpredictable. I’d never thought u would enjoy Christmas thrillers, but please go read this! I’m glad there is a sequel to it since I have a feeling there is a lot more to learn..
