I enjoyed this domestic thriller about a dysfunctional family, but I didn't love it. I did like the multiple POVs and the fact that each family member had their own secrets, but each character was so unlikeable that I really couldn't root for any of them . At times the book was very fast paced and I didn't want to stop listening, but then the pace just slowed right down. I'm not sure I'll listen to the rest of the series.
I really enjoyed this and can’t wait for the next one!

It was fast paced and I did want to keep reading, but I found the author’s use of the “unreliable narrator” to be less of an omission of information and more of just very rapidly changing the characters personality with little explanation.

I felt like I was reading someone’s rough draft. I liked the plot but it was all over the place. With some editing this could have been really good.
