Solidly fleshed out main characters and moderately interesting relationships with best friend and newly acquired girlfriends. FMC and MMC have unexpected backstories that are told throughout the book. FMC’s sister character improved throughout the book, too. MMC is such a cinnamon roll puppy dog—how could you not love this book? And FMC is hyper independent, calling him an asshole while he’s like, “gimme more?” Love it.
