This is a really fun, twisty read! I will say if you're a reader who gets completely caught up on how realistic all plot points are, you may struggle with this one at times. I, however, am completely ok with some outrageousness in my thrillers, so I loved this book!

Iris is a school psychologist at an Atlanta prep school who arrives at work one day only to hear about a plane crash that killed all passengers--a flight from ATL to Seattle. Iris's husband Will--who she has an adorable loving relationship with--is on a plane at that exact time, but to Orlando. However within a few hours, Iris hears from the airline that her husband Will was a passenger on the Seattle flight. How can that be?

Iris begins a spiral of grief and confusion and anger that I believe most of us could sympathize with. She questions IF Will was really on the plane? And WHY would he be going to Seattle? What is Iris missing? How can she get answers?

From here I want to avoid spoilers, so suffice it to say the direction the book took was refreshing! It wasn't the cookie-cutter story I expected. I also loved the relationship between Iris and her twin brother Dave. The ending was wrapped up (you get answers) which I always appreciate. The action also continues into the final chapter. What a wonderful book! I actually had my heart race at a few points, which is always fun and the sign of a good thriller.

This started off very strong. It was mysterious and gripping and could not put it down. However, towards the end the pacing slowed down quite a bit, the events and how the secrets unfolded were all anti-climatic and the ending left me feeling unfulfilled.

What a great thriller and suspenseful story mixed with a sprinkle of romance in it!
A married couple with a textbook perfect relationship turns rocky when the husband dies on a plane crash; the only problem he wasn’t supposed to be on that plane. The story quickly turns into a “do you know your husband as well as you think?”.
Only gave this story 4 stars because the ending just…

First I have to say the author is very good! I give full credit for the plot - the ending and the main character. I must add that the peripheral characters were all too much of a stereotype - annoyingly so. I had to work hard to remind myself, while reading, that the book was worth more than that. I have 3 stars as my rating but wished to give more.
