In order to inherit after her father passes, our main character must disguise herself as her father's son. She inherits as Count Camembert and moves to the royal city, far from where anyone may recognize her true identity and crowded enough that she may slip into the background. The only problem is that she very quickly finds her self in the inner circle of and falling in love with the crown princess.

I loved everything about this book. The artwork is beautiful but silly, the characters are lovable and flawed, and the story keeps you guessing even when you think you know how it will play out. Modern elements are mixed into a historical setting in a very fun way that reminds me of Netflix's Bridgerton, and the tone is kept light as the story plays with some serious topics like gender and sexuality. Every single name in this book is a cheese because the author wanted to write her wife a "cheesy love story" *swoon*. This is a must read.

If you don't like graphic novels, I suppose this isn't for you. It's hard for me to find a negative about this book.

I would recommend this to anyone especially if you're in need of a fun pick me up!
