This is so good! It was long but somehow didnt feel that way. I love how when Julien's abuser got into his head and Julien questioned himself and went to pull away from everyone they didn't let that happen. Isaac, their friends, the coach, their teammates, the pr team, Julien's family, they all stood behind him and supported him. Julien and Isaac really deserved their hard fought for hea.

Disappointed that this didn’t have the tension I need from romance. Felt overprocessed.

Been a little while since I indulged in an ice hockey romance and this was a fun read.

I liked that the dynamic between Julien and Isaac wasn’t stereotypical and a bit different, it worked well.

Overall though this book was soooo much longer than it needed to be whilst simultaneously rushing things. The speed at which they went from ‘shouldn’t date a team mate’ to boyfriends was about 24 hours and I’m not entirely sure what the rush was when the book was like 500 odd pages. A little more build up please
