Eu tive uma experiência negativa com Noites Brancas, mas fiquei feliz por ter lido ele primeiro pois sinto que agregou muito à experiência de Memórias do Subsolo, principalmente o contraste das perspectivas do autor presente nas duas obras. Extremamente reflexivo, não é o tipo de "livro triste" que vai te afetar imediatamente, sinto que é mais a mensagem que fica presa no seu subconsciente, te fazendo remoer as nuances dela por muito tempo. Fui um pouco receosa por conta da minha primeira experiência com Dostoievski e me surpreendi.

I did not need the existential crisis today. 3* 

I found the stream of consciousness difficult. It was hard to remain focused and then I started to have my existential crisis so there was that.
