god this is cute. would read again for sure, would reccomend!! harley quinn is a highschooler in this one gang, but do not let yourself think for a second that just because this was made for a younger audience there is less compelling storytelling. ive gotten realllll into harley lately, and i think this hits the perfect blend of silly goofy gal you would love to be friends with AND someone who Would absolutely burn your house down if you piss her off. lovely lovely story, poison ivy and joker are GREAT, and of course who doesnt love mama.

Super fun, as Harley Quinn usually is! Spots of thoughtfulness and good pacing, glad I read it.

4.5 stars, bumped up because fantastic queer representation is so needed in mainstream comics
I laughed out loud so many times while reading this. I also went, "awwwww" to many a cute scene. Mariko Tamaki has made the best Harley Quinn story I've seen up to this point, and I've been a fan of her since she debuted in Batman: The Animated Series!

I haven't read a lot of the DC comics so I can't comment on how this is as a Harley Quinn story but I thoroughly enjoyed it

A perfect story for new and old fans of Harley Quinn. Mariko Tamaki expertly tells this story and provides a fun and exciting new origin for the character.
While the story is out of continuity and the standalone tale that requires no previous experience with any Batman characters.
A fun and delightful read.

This book made me like Harley—and helped me think of her as more than just "Joker's girlfriend." The art left me a little unsettled, however—which works for the feel of the book, but I'm just not a fan.
