This included a love triangle between two dudes and tbh I would have preferred she choose neither.
The sapphic romance on the other hand was lovely.

I absolutely loved this one, it certainly filled the hole Bridgerton left. I preferred this one to the first book, if that was pride and prejudice, this one was Persuasion with a twist. I liked how it wasn’t just a romance but about Eliza’s growth as a person.

Perfectly charming love story! At first I was so irritated by the protagonist. I didn't think she fully redeemed herself but I couldn't help but be charmed by Max.
