This was an enjoyable read, with each chapter nicely linked together. I felt it became a bit meandering in parts which is why I dropped one star, but overall a good read that I’d recommend to a friend.

I loved this. It's refreshing to learn the truth about these people, depressing somewhat that it's not more widely known. I did prefer the author's previous book where the histories were broader than this format of potted biographies allows.
