I read a sample of the first story on my Kindle, and I wasn't feeling it. Fortunately, the book got better. It wasn't as good as the books that Chelsea wrote herself, but I still enjoyed it.

I wasn't sure about this book when I picked it out because it wasn't written by Chelsea herself, but was written by an odd collection of her friends and relatives, but I don't regret reading it. The stories are still Chelsea and it was interesting hearing them told from various perspectives. She is quite a character, and after reading two of the books that she wrote herself, you begin to wonder how much she may be exaggerating, but if the stories in this book are true then you have to assume that all of the stories are true. A bit frightening, but also genuine and always hilarious. Keep 'em coming!

I am divided between giving this 2 AND 3 stars...really a 2.5. Chelsea is mean to her friends and while some of these accounts seem OK with her....some sound really rather angry. Again, this was a fast, light read which is what I needed for swim lessons, occasionally amusing and a few really funny parts.

In a perfect world, I would be this woman's best friend. She could lie to me all day!

I love Chelsea Handler and her entire staff. Getting to read their sides of her stories was especially hilarious. I also felt a more human connection to Chelsea after reading this book as a lot of her staffers/friends/family spoke very highly of her and her kindness in addition to her blunt, crude and usually hilarious nature.

If you're a fan of Chelsea Handler or either of her shows, read it!

While not actually being written by Chelsea Handler (it's written by her friends and family and dog), Lies That Chelsea Handler told me utilizes the same wit and charm as her past works. This means that it is funny, shocking and raunchy and thoroughly entertaining to read.

I would recommend this book to anyone that enjoys any of Chelsea Handler's works being it her tv show(s) or her written words. Certainly if you are a fan of Chelsea Lately then this book is even more for you as the writers of the individual chapters are mostly familiar personalities from the show.

All of that being said I cannot wait for Chelsea's next book that she is actually the writer of because like her lies, nobody does it better.
