Od Colleen Hoover si přečtu úplně cokoli. I to, co nikdy nemělo spatřit světlo světa a přeci jenom tu vedle sebe mám pokračování jedné z mých nejoblíbenějších knih.

Květinářka Lily se jako matka samoživitelka nikdy nezastaví. S bývalým manželem Rylem to nemá snadné ani po rozvodu. Naštěstí má kolem sebe milující přátele, kteří ji podporují na každém kroku. A hlavně svou lásku z dětství, Atlase.

I quite liked the book, although not as good as the first, it gives more of an insight into Altas' life and life after the "happy ending" of the first book

I’m not even gonna read the reviews on this book because I don’t want to read a negative thing about it. This book was just so happy and I just love Atlas so much and I’m so happy he and Lily finally got their happy ending ❤️

Also..
“You’re going to drive five miles just to give me a hug?”
“I’d run five miles just to give you a hug”

I like this better than It Ends With Us.

There are elements of domestic violence and PTSD from the events of the first book, but overall, this story was a lot happier and more hopeful.

I’ve seen where others have written that it was an “unnecessary” sequel, but I enjoyed reading Lily find her strength and also find a reliable partner in Atlas. I was also pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed Josh’s storyline and character development.

These stories are important to share because they are realistic. I can see where people find that discomforting as books are usually an escape mechanism from reality, and it’s part of the reason going into the first one blind was difficult to experience, but CoHo does a great job in writing without an ego.

I didn't know how colleen was going to follow its ends with us, and I honestly was not very excited about a love story between her and Atlas because he was her past. This book was a cute simple love story that gave us Lily's happy ending and went more in-depth to share what its like getting out of an abusive relationship. I like books with a little more chaos, so this one wasn't really for me, but I loved the addition of Josh, that was my favorite part of the novel. I also appreciate how Colleen made it clear why it's so hard to leave abusive relationships, or maybe it was only clear to me because I could relate to a lot that lily experienced. As a hater, I say that atlas is too perfect to exist. She left this toxic relationship with Ryle and then magically rekindles her love with her Highschool lover, and then their relationship is perfect and he is anything a woman could ever ask for... maybe I'm too much of a man-hater to believe that there are men out there like Atlas, but it made me a little mad how absolutely amazing that man was.
