As a supernatural fan I was intrigued from the start! It starts off exciting and it just continues to build throughout the book. This is a well done enemies to lover story that’s action packed from the start! I can’t wait to read more of Nicola’s books.

It was just meh.
Also weird how it's kinda spicy but very much fade to black. Just didn't vibe with it

Dark, and different than I’ve read before. But still an interesting story with twists that I didn’t see coming. This was a stuff your kindle book so it ended up being a random read for me that I ended up enjoying!

And Nicola Rose does it again! What a sultry, steamy, angsty love story she has here! This author is quickly becoming my go-to whenever I need a break to indulge in a bit of 'guilty pleasure' read. This is like dark chocolate for me, Ms Rose's writing is as lush and involving as a thick, oozy coating of chocolate ganache, and as sweet as well, with the hint of bitterness that tells you it's a damn good chocolate you're having. This is quality writing, unputdownable as it was, I couldn't force myself away from this book. The narrative just flows and keeps you there, locked inside the pages, lost in that world, aching with Angel and Lucifer - well, aching for Lucifer, actually but hey, I didn't say that!! - needing to know where the plot is going.
You'll get your heart crushed at some point and if you're anything like me, you will loathe Ms Rose with a vengeance and want to throw the book at her head. But then you'll come to terms with what you read, and you'll realise it was the only possible way to go. And then she sweeps the rug from under your feet once more, when you'd just made your peace, and you're left swaying again, but oh-so-relieved and happy that you read this book. I mean, I'm always happy when I read one of Ms. Rose's book, so I'll be eagerly awaiting the next lush, sensual, steamy story!
